NEW MUSIC FROM CALVIN HARRIS FT/ KELIS !

Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has done it again, and this time with Kelis! If you don't know who Harris is, you could compare him to David Guetta and DJ Khaled, just the DJ, no lyrics. Well, ladys nd gents, Kelis really sangggg on this track. The track is entitled Bounce and is club banger! Back in April Harris confirmed via Twitter that he was recording the video for the second single from his upcoming album, titled "Bounce", in Vegas. Maybe it's just me but I'm really excited to see Kelis on any kind of screen again. Hopefully this will push her some and she'll get her shit together and decide to actually work on something worth mentioning.

RIHANNA'S NEW SINGLE COVER !

2010/2011 has been a good year for Rihanna, Platinum selling album, Grammy winning album, and now so-far-so-good tour reviews. Well it's about to get better. Rihanna just released the video for her ballad California King Bed, and here is the cover art for her latest single, Man Down which yet again, she follows the trend of all her latest cover arts. The video was shot last week by Anthony Mandler and Rih flew all the way to Jamaica to shoot the video. Hopefully she'll actually kill someone instead of just singing about it, shawty left my mind a little dry after her California King Bed video.

EXTENDED TRAILER OF BEYONCE'S NEW VIDEO !

Soooo , Beyonce released an extended version of the sneak peak for her new video "Girls (Who Run The World)." The video seems like it will be actually good and interesting, hence the fact it looks like Slumdog Millionaire meets WWII meets the Jersey Shore Fist Pump. She even took it back a little with the same hairstyle she had in the Deja Vu video. In her sakes, hopefully the video will promote the single just enough to get it at least in the top 40. Beyonce, good luck, the rest of your life depends on this , if you blow this, you better start popping babies!

BEYONCE REVEALS NAME OF NEXT ALBUM!

So in a recent interview mega-star Beyonce Knowles (yes I had to use the throwback booty-pop picture) revealed the title of her 4th much anticipated solo album. 4 . . . That's right , just the number 4. Knowles claims that the number 4 is a significant number to her as it's the day of  her birthday, her mom Tina's birthday, a couple of her friends' birthday, and the day of her wedding anniversary. Now, I'm all for symbolism, but Bey, you already used your birthday with B'Day and now you're using another reference with this album?

Now we see how she has already released a remix to pon de floor single called "Girls (Who Run The World)" which has to be Beyonce's least successful single of all time. You wonder whats the sudden change in her? Well, after dropping her father, Matthew Knowles, as her manager, she signed to her husband Jay-Z's record label , Roc Nation. Ok, a label switch is fine, but what about a new manager? Rumored to be Jay-Z himself, Beyonce cleared up all rumors when she stated to Billboard magazine "We were at a point where we’d do so much from each other, and now it’s exciting for me to do this on my own and hire my own team. I’ve started managing myself” Well it all makes sense now, back in '03 she wanted to release her rendition of 50 Cent's debut single "In Da Club" as her 1st solo single, a remix ladies and gents, as a single. Fast forward 8 years later and as soon as Beyonce gets control of herself, the first thing she does is release a remix as a single. WTF?! Well, in this direction , Rhianna better get ready to start having better dance breaks on stage because it seems as if she's next in line for the crown.

ADELE PERFORMS ON DWTS !

English sensation Adele made a stop on her tour to perform for Dancing With The Stars. She supposed to perform two songs one being a rendition of Carol King's "Natural Woman" But with alleged vocal cord issues, Adele only performed Rolling In The Deep as Australian singer Delta Goodrem stepped in for an amazing performance hence the fact she only had an hour of rehearsals to sing a song she has never sang before (below). 





Adele performed her hit single with ease and even a little poplock. Still wearing her black ensemble that she has now bedazzeled, Adele seemed to have a slight attitude problem from my perspective. Maybe it was the fact that she was sick or maybe she just doesn't like looking at skinny people dancing while she sings, whatever it was , she should stop , wrinkles are the last thing her piggly-wiggly face needs. Then at eh end of the performance , she seems unmoved my the roaring applaud. Could Ms. Adele getting Naomi Campbell on us? Time shall tell.

CIARA GETTING SIGNED ?!

So we all remember the story about how everybody's favorite Princess of Crunk got dropped from Jive records back in February right? (A part of me wants to know why she hasn't released her "movie" Mama I Just Wanna Sing yet) Well, since then CiCi has been on her hoe shit for sure. Showing up to all the red carpet event looking like what Superhead would have looked like if she knew how to trick right. Now dating New York Knick's power forward Amar'e Stoudemire, it seems that all her hoe shit has finally paid off. Ciara is in the works to be signed to the has been label Street Records Corporation who also host Aubrey O'Day , Akon , T-Boz and Shontelle. Hopefully with all these "not so releveant" artist, SRC can focus on CiCi because she does deserve another chance, she just needs to have NO say in any production, we all see where that ended Beyonce.

BRITNEY'S NEW SINGLE !

With her new album Femme Fatale at #4 on the charts, her Till The World Ends Remix (ft. Nicki Minaj & Ke$ha) #3 on the Hot 100 Britney Spears is doing the damn thing. Coming back hard with her sultry pop songs, the pop princess has done it again with her new single "I Wanna Go." The Max Martin and Shellback produced track is a upbeat club banger similar to her original single "Hold It Against Me." This song is destined to be big as its winding into summer and everybody needs a pre-club song, this is definitely it. Hopefully Brit releases a non-club hit as her next single, preferably "He About To Loose Me," especially since she's said it's one of her favorite records off the album. No this isn't the actual single art, but I like it, lol. Well until now, this will do, now let's she if she can pull a video off before her sixth tour, The Femme Fatale Tour starts June 17.

OPRAH ON ACTING AGAIN ?!

With Oprah's daytime talk show coming to an end, and her not as involved with her OWN channel , she has free time. She has been in talks about doing a broadway show! Remember, Oprah started acting back in 1985 when she said "I loves Harpo, but I killem' dead fo' I let em' beat me" in the Color Purple. With the major success of her talk show, magazine and everything else she does, she got wrapped up in everything and hasn't had enough time to act since. She once toyed with the idea to act in Kenny Leon's Fences, thinking she could record during the day and perform at night, but eventually, the idea fell through. As of right now Oprah is reading a couple scripts and will soon decide which is best for her. Whatever she does, I'm sure it'll be phenomenal, she is Oprah. Let's just see if the production will stay under the wings of the director or will Oprah be herself and just take over. I mean it's a big deal, with the First Family bound to come and all. Let's just hope for the best. You go Oprah! You better tell Harpo second time around!

WAYNE EXTENDS "I AM STILL MUSIC II" TOUR ! NEW ACTS !

So before I started this awesome blog , I was lowkey giving all my input and opinions to another blog and I gave them a review of the I Am Music II which you can read up on here . Well I guess Wayne wasn't ready to give up the bright lights and big money as he added 40 more tour dates to rake that young mulah , but with the new openers, any mulah is a favor. Ricky Rozay will keep his position, but it seems as Travis Barker and Nicki Minaj have backed out. Minaj has already signed onto the Femme Fatale Tour with Britney Spears, Jessie and the Boy Toys and Nervo wich kicks off on June 16th in Sacramento. Replacing the two are downgrade singer Llyod and already washed up Keri Hilson. With Keri already having a previous tour canceled, how successful can this really be? Now Weezy , I'm all for helping out a friend, but sometimes you cant mix business with our next baby mommas . Well anyways , here is the new tour dates. If any of you go , PLEASE , send in a review , I'm BEGGING you.

LADY GAGA NEW SINGLE ! THE EDGE OF GLORY !

Recently a track off Lady Gaga's much anticipated album Born This Way. The track entitled The Edge of Glory is easily one of  GaGa's less controversial singles off BTW. Even with the soulful semi Becky's christian church melody, the song has easily become my favorite off BTW so far . Clarence Clemons throws in a jazzy sax solo right smack dab in the middle of the song , as Gaga sings, “I’m on the edge with you.” If you like Clarence's sax-a-work , don't worry , he's soon to be back as Gaga also collaborated with Clemons on the song Hair which is to drop May 16 a week before the album drops on May 23rd.

RHIANNA , CALIFORNIA KING BED !

The anticipated debate as to which single to be released next and which video to be shot next is over. The Barbados Princess Rhianna has finally come forward with the 4th video from her Platinum Selling Album , Loud. After S&M and all of it sexy glamor, it was long over due for her to release a slow ballad as a single and video. The California King Bed (CKB) video is a . . . nice video. Simplistic, very straight forward and to the point. There's no kind of symbolism , nothing to make you think, just a bed , I mean which is nice and all , but you could have given me a little something to exercise my brain power. If you saw her perform on American Idol a couple weeks back , then you've seen the video. Well none the less, the video and single are bound to be successful, I mean who is her competition these days? Sure isn't "Queen B" , but thats another topic for another drawn out post . lol .

JENNIFER LOPEZ (FT LIL WAYNE) IM INTO YOU . FULL VIDEO .

As you may have heard last week, Jennifer Lopez's new video is hot ! But most people questioned the absence of Lil Wayne since he is known to be in EVERY video he adds his "lyrical genius" to. Well here he is folks , looks like his performance in Destiny Child's Solider. The video is still hot, but in my opinion , the anti-Weezy version is better, its sexier. Wayne always adds this hood look at any video. But hands down, this video is hot.
